This place was so freaking good! I always look for Lengua and the reviews were legit! The best Lengua taco i have ever had! Flavors were so good! So much going on, literally a party in my mouth! I also got the beef cheek and i ordered 3 of each and could only eat one of each as the size was not what I expected! I am happily taking home the rest for later! Also ordered Menudo, I will come back to post that review as I got that to go, super excited. My friends ordered the chicken and chorizo tacos and also loved them! Definitely recommend and hoping I travel near here again as I would come just for the lengua tacos!
I will literally drive an hour+ from either DC where my 1st job is, or two and a half hours from Virginia Beach, where my 2nd job is... Just to eat these perfectly seasoned tacos.... Two cabeza and two lengua tacos . Do you see the fat in my tacos?!?!??! I pick through my tacos and eat the fat first 1000000/10 Don't knock it until you try it
They have the best tacos in Virginia, in my opinion. They are authentic and delicious. They get each aspect right from the toritilla, meat, seasoning, and salsa. Each time my wife and I have gone, they give you plenty of lime. The lime is something many places don't give enough of, but you won't have to worry about that here. Their aqua frescas are sweet and refreshing. My personal favorite is the tamarindo. I also recommend their quesadillas as well they have various options and have lots of cheese.
We just had the Chicken Empanadas (only 2 showing but 3 to an order) our favorite order hereand took home the Chicken & Cheese Quesadillas. I ate the first one before taking the picture. Our order was correct. Great service, friendly staff. New spacious seating area.
Wow. The horchata is the best I have ever had... it just about cured my depression. Don't get fooled by the price either. A $10 burrito is enough food to have you cemented to your couch with sense of complete satisfaction.
This place is a must-visit for me whenever I'm in town, and their food never disappoints. To further elevate their service, I suggest they consider introducing a more rigorous order-verification process to prevent mistakes. On a couple of occasions, I've experienced misunderstandings with my orders. Moreover, it would be great if the cashiers could extend a warm welcome and devote their full attention to customers, rather than being preoccupied with their phones. By making these adjustments, this establishment could become even more exceptional.
I’m not Mexican but I lived in Mexico for one year and tacos that I tried here were BETTER. It’s absolutely different level of tacos. If I would have to choose only one meal that I have to eat until the rest of my life then I would choose their tacos with tongue. This meat is melting in your mouth
Sooo yummy. Pretty authentic food. Great selection of tacos and drinks. The Sope is awesome, it comes with flavorful beans and fresh cheese.They make their own sauces as well which are super spicy and delicious. Prices are very reasonable.
